Graham Shannon has won the sweep on the last two Sundays.

The juvenile members of Banbridge Golf Club were given the chance to get into competitive mode over the Easter holidays.

Jamie Thompson was the star player. He shot a 71 gross, only two over par and that gave him a fabulous 43 points.

Whites: Jamie Thompson (9) 43 pts

Yellows: Jack Hutchinson (33) 40 pts

SUNDAY 12TH APRIL

With work commitments, it is the only competition available to him. This was his second win on successive Sundays and he has his eyes set on a hat-trick. I wouldn’t bet against it.

1st- Graham Shannon (21) Nett 30.5

2nd- Ian Craven (18) Nett 31

WEDNESDAY 15TH APRIL

There is a message for young Jack Hutchinson.

He should be prepared for a massive cut to his handicap. This was the second Easter holiday sweep for the juveniles. Jack won both of them off the yellow blocks. He is obviously a star in the making.

Whites - Josh Crory (6) 32 pts

Yellows: Jack Hutchinson (33) 48 pts
