Hamill move in danger

MARTY QUINN has admitted that the chances of striker Rory Hamill joining his Glenavon ranks are now rated as only fifty fifty.

The boss had been keen to add the experienced striker to his panel in the January transfer window but with little interest in any of his transfer-listed players, it remains to be seen if the move will go ahead.

“I need to get one or two players out, that’s the problem,” Quinn told the ‘MAIL.’

“At the moment, Rory won’t be coming in until someone goes out but that could change. It’s 50:50 whether he’ll come in or not.

“If he does sign, he’ll be joining until the end of the season and I’ll be trying to get as much usage out of him as possible between now and then.

“I still haven’t heard anything as regards to the players going out. The lads are so well looked after at the club that nobody wants to go. The training gear and post-match treatment of the players is all great and everything’s geared towards success which just isn’t coming at the moment.”
