Harriers enjoy success at Runher event

Co Antrim Harriers’ Louise Smart was first to finish for the club in Saturday’s 10k Runher event in Holywood, clocking a time of 46:25.

Louise was followed to the line by Lisa Barrett (48:10), Kim Gleave (59:13), Marion Morrow (60:16), Eileen Stewart (60:56) and Ally Bennett (65;04).

Dame Mary Peters saw off the competitors at the charity event on the North Down coast.

Other Co Antrim Harriers in weekend action, in the parkrun time trials, were Bob Carson (21:38) at Victoria, Heather White (1st Female 22:44) and Irene Downey (25:24) at the Waterworks.

Christine Murray (1st female 22:11 and Greg Hopkins (26:04) at Ecos.
