Harriers to host first race

New club Mallusk Harriers is set to host its first club race this evening (7 pm) with a five-mile route around the lanes of Mallusk.

Formed in late 2013 and based at Academy Sports Club, its membership continues to grow.

The club supports runners who want to get that little bit fitter, while enjoying the social interaction of the club environment. It also helps those who compete in 5k parkruns all the way to marathons and beyond.

The Harriers meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Academy Sports Club (6.30 pm) and again on Sundays (4 pm) at Mallusk Playing Fields.

Coaching is provided to match abilities and expectations.
