Harry honoured by rugby club

Ballymena Rugby Club reently honoured one its highly-respected, long-standing members.
Ballymena Rugby Club President, Mr. Guy McCullough, hands over a certificate of Honorary Membership of Ballymena Rugby Football Club to Mr. Harry Fisher, marking his dedicated support to the Eaton Park club over many years. Club President Guy McCullough, along with the Vice-Chairman, Derek Montgomery, presented a certificate conferring Honorary membership Of Ballymena Rugby Football Club to Mr. Harry Fisher “in recognition of his dedicated support to the club over many years”.

The ceremony took place at a corporate lunch at Eaton Park prior to a recent AIL game against UL Bohemians.

Harry was a past member of the Executive Committee of the club, Hon. Sec of the Development Committee and assisted by Mr Tommy Speers was instrumental in setting up the Mini-Rugby section of the club and along with Tommy represented Ballymena at the Ulster Branch Mini Rugby Committee.
