The event is being generously supported by Chain Reaction Cycles and will this year set off on the morning of Sunday, April 28.

Cyclists will start peddling at Ballyclare Rugby Club and then go on an epic 100km journey through the Glens of Antrim - a route designed to be both a challenge for participants and a chance for them to see some of the best scenery the North Coast has to offer.

KMCC, which is based in Ballyclare, is offering 200 cyclists of all abilities the chance to take part in the event. Participants pay a set registration fee of £15 and then raise additional sponsorship for the NICFC.

All money collected will go towards funding NICFC’s work in providing services and support to children, teenagers and young people living with cancer and their families.

Dawn Weir, NICFC Fundraising Manager, said: “NICFC are looking forward to working with Kings Moss Cycling Club on their fantastic annual Sportive. We are delighted to be the chosen charity for the fourth year in a row, with over £11,000 raised to date! A huge thank you to all at Kings Moss Cycling Club for their amazing support to help local children, teenagers and young adults living with cancer in Northern Ireland.”
