Hazel is the winner as Lisburn Ladies hold annual golf outing

Although a little cold to start, the day turned out to be dry and bright which made great conditions for golf. The course was long and demanding and this challenged the best of golfers.

Some of the greens were hidden on approach shots which made life difficult at times. This only added to the sheer enjoyment of playing the great game of golf.

The Lady Captain Daphne Bailie welcomed the ladies to the evening meal, she thanked the staff at Roe Valley for the excellent service and accommodation.

She then proceeded to present the prizes to the worthy winners.

The evening ended with lively music and song laid on by the hotel and naturally dancing followed and was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Some of the ladies played 9 holes of golf on Friday while others indulged in the great facilities of the spa before returning home.
