High School girls line-up for netball tournament against Australians
FIVE Year 12 girls from Ballymoney High School were selected for the Coleraine & District Team to play against a touring team from Australia - Lucy Calderwood, Nicola Clyde, Amy Davison, Lauren Marshall and Rebecca Patrick.
The match was played on Monday 27 September at Loreto College.
It was an excellent game with both squads showing some very skillful play and excellent shooting - especially the Australians! The Coleraine & District team played remarkably well having only practiced together on one occasion and with the girls more used to playing against one another than together.

Hide AdIn each quarter a best player was awarded by the touring team. Two out of the four quarters were won by pupils from Ballymoney High school - Lucy Calderwood (who is a current Northern Ireland U17 player) and Rebecca Patrick.
The final score was 57 - 34 to All Hallows School, Brisbane, Australia
