Hilden make sure of their survival

Hilden dispelled any lingering doubts of survival in Private Greens Senior 2 when they took two points from a 13 shots away defeat by NICS.

Hilden B managed to get 1.5 points despite only fielding 12 players when they lost by 28 shots at home to Willowfield B in Private Greens Junior 2.

Despite the handicap on each rink Barney Greenan managed to get a share of the spoils and Robin Campbell went one better by winning by three shots.

There have not been many successes for Malone this year, but they finished in style with a 28 shots win away to Gallaher and six points in Private Greens Senior 3.

Wins for Eric Mairs, Terry Monro and David Nelson were not enough, though, to keep them from dropping into the new Division 4 next season.

Lambeg Parish seeking trophies and players

Lambeg Parish are eager to attract new players for the upcoming season in the Roy Kennedy Fuels Indoor Bowling League.
