Hilden take two points at Ballywalter

Hilden opened their season with not too bad a performance when they came home from Ballywalter with two points in NI Private Greens Division 2.

Keith Morrison won by seven shots and Johnny McMullan took the other point with a one shot victory.

Trevor Gray went down by 12 shots and Colin Montgomery by four shots but it is a more than useful start to the season by Hilden.

Hilden B got off to a winning start in Private Greens Division 5 with a 5.75 shots win at home to Belmont D, taking four points.

Hugh Murray got the vital win by 15.75 shots and the other three games resulted in narrow defeats.

Maurice Reid lost by three shots, Robin Campbell went down by the same margin and Drew Harron lost by four shots.
