Hillsborough Boys triumph at annual tournament

THE Church on the Hill, Maghaberry held their annual Family Fun day at Maghaberry Primary School on Saturday June 26.

Events that were arranged included a Junior Soccer 6's Tournament featuring the under 9 age group.

The teams that participated were Hillsborough Boys, Lurgan Town, Lower Maze and Tandragee Youth. This year's tournament winners were Hillsborough Boys who retained the trophy, runners up were Lurgan Town.

Each member of the teams received a medal for their participation in the event which Northern Ireland goalkeeper Jonathan Tuffey presented.

Sincere thanks to Jonny for taking the time out and for his words of

encouragement to all the players.

Results from the Tournament were as follows:

HBFC 1 - Tandregee Youth 1.

HBFC 5 - Lower Maze 0.

HBFC 4 - Lurgan Town 1.

Lurgan Town 1 - Tandragee Youth 0.

Lower Maze 0 - Tandragee 1.

Lurgan Town 1 - Lower Maze 0.
