Hillsborough woman Heather is the third woman home at the 2014 Belfast City Half Marathon

Heather, who was one of over 3,800 people who took part, crossed the finish line in a time of 01:21:27. A fantastic achievement for the local runner.

The event started and finished at the King’s Hall Pavilion, with the route taking in all major landmarks around the City Centre including Queen’s University, Botanic Gardens Titanic Quarter, City Hall and many more.

The race was started by the Lord Mayor of Belfast, Councillor Nichola Mallon.
