History to be made at Crystal Park

CRYSTAL Park will witness a little bit of history on Wednesday evening when the recently retitled Banbridge Town Ladies FC take to the field.

This will be the first home game of the 2013 NIWFA Division One season for the ladies against Cappagh Spurs. The Ladies are more than delighted to have been allocated Crystal Park for this match as it will soon be rested during the men’s summer break.

The remainder of home matches will be played at Cheney Park but view Crystal Park and its facilities as their new spiritual home.

Club Chairman, Paul Cull, said, “We see this as a natural conclusion to the end of phase one of the new partnership and look forward to developing the bigger whole family image of the club. There is certainly a buzz around the club .

“The Ladies would also like to wish Brian Adair and his team best wishes for Friday evening’s Mid Ulster Cup final against Dungannon Swifts and will be there in numbers to lend support. This is the first of two big nights this weekend with the Ladies holding at Night at the Races on Saturday evening,.Let’s hope for success in both ventures.
