HOCKEY: Join the Club at Greenisland Ladies

Greenisland Ladies Hockey Club are on the lookout for new members to create their own sporting legacy this year.

With four teams and the opportunity to play either for fun or competitively, the Club is the ideal place for members to restart their hockey career.

Greenisland Ladies 1st XI are situated in Senior 1, the second highest league in Ulster Hockey and last year finished fourth, their highest ever league position.

Meanwhile, the 2nd XI have been in Junior 1 for several seasons, the highest league possible for them.

The Club’s 3rd XI have experienced back to back promotions and are now playing in Junior 4 whilst the 4th XI play in Junior 8 of the Ulster Hockey League.

Greenisland Ladies train at University of Ulster’s Jordanstown campus on Tuesdays from 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm and Thursdays at the Greenisland football pitches in Greenisland Estate from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

All new players receive 50 percent off the kit and become members of Greenisland War Memorial Sports Club, with members able to hire out the function hall for free.
