HOCKEY: Late Coleraine goal seals victory

Despite the wet weather Coleraine started well showing their pace and putting Hollywood under pressure from the whistle.

Strong play in the midfield by Rachel Minihan soon paid off with a super strike just inside the circle to put Coleraine ahead.

Coleraine continued to keep the pressure on with the forwards of Lisa Browne, Emma Jamison and Lyndsey Wallace linking well together but they were unfortunate not to increase their lead.

Samantha Taylor put in another strong performance keeping away any threat to the Coleraine goal.

After half time Hollywood dominated for a spell and Coleraine conceded an equaliser from a penalty corner.

But with just minutes to go Coleraine won a penalty corner and a well placed shot from the top of the circle by Minihan sealed a deserved victory.
