Dungannon are top of the League and they had not lost a game all season.

The game started at a high pace and both teams started the game well. Dungannon pushed forward early towards the Rainey backline but strong defence from Louise McMaster, Jill Black, Rosie Taylor and Kirsty McLarnon meant that Dungannon were finding it difficult to score.

Rebecca Allen as goalie displayed amazing skill and saved numerous shots on goal. Dungannon were then able to secure a goal in the first half.

Rainey then began to break down the Dungannon side and it was clear Rainey were determined to pull it back. Excellent runs from Rachel Burns, Tori Hastings, Carolyn Burns and Emma Currie meant that the attack was strong. Unfortunately Rainey were not able to secure the goal they needed.

From the half time whistle to the last ten minutes of play it was head to head with strong attacking movement from both sides.

Rainey held out until the last ten minutes when a fast paced Dungannon forward broke the backline and had a clear shot on goal which she took advantage of. The game finished 2-0.
