Honour for Curran Ladies secretary Eileen

Curran Ladies Bowling Club has been honoured by the election of its secretary Eileen Magill to serve as Vice President of the Northern Ireland Women’s Bowling Association for 2015.

The appointment will progress into presidency in 2016.

This is the first time Curran has provided an official to the governing body.

Meanwhile, taking 4 points from their opening day victory over Lagan Valley, Curran continued with an away win over Gilnahirk.

Tilda Carmichael, Sonya McDermott, Eileen Magill skipped by Lynda Simms returning a 19 shot to 16 winning card.

Marwin Hardy, Pauline Blair, Rene Gallagher with Valerie Noble at skip recorded an 18 shot to 14 victory. Result: - Gilnahirk LBC 30 shots (0 points) Curran LBC 37 shots (5 points).
