Hottest swingers in town!

LAST Wednesday 67 players braved the inclement conditions at Bushfoot Golf Club in the augural Ballymoney United Golf Classic. Tournament organiser John Fall was over the moon with the turn-out and would personally like to thank everyone who took part and made the day an excellent event.

He also would like to thank Bushfoot Golf Club for the use of their facilities and the caterers for a splendid meal.

Ballymoney United officials would also like to pay their thanks to all the hole sponsors and to all the young volunteers who played a big part throughout the day.

With various prizes up for grabs all players were very keen to come in with a sound Stableford score.

Team winners were awarded to the Wizards consisting of Richard Jackson, Peter Spratt, Paul Gaston and David McKee on a total of 112 points.

First individual winner was awarded to Paul Gaston with 36 points.

Runner-up spot was awarded to Ivan Harper with 35 points.

Third place was awarded to Brendan Kirgan with 33 points.

Longest drive went to Mervyn Greer and nearest to the pin went to Stephen Tweed. Other various prizes went to Malachy McAleese, Stuart McMullan, Ian Rosborough, Gareth Hill and Mervyn Greer. See inside
