Hunter and Martin set to clash in the Jethro final

Morning section winner, R. Hunter (58 points) and the afternoon top rink, W. Martin will meet to decide overall first and second place at the Jethro Rinks League finals day on Thursday, March 24 at 10.30am.

The third and fourth place will be decided between A. Magee, who finished second with 53 pts in the morning section and L. Magennis, who finished on 55 points, the same number as the winner, who had the better shots difference, in the afternoon section.

St John’s Moira

Singles Tournament

The St John’s Moira Indoor Bowling Club Open Singles Tournament will be held in the Parish Centre, Moira for the R. J. Allam Perpetual Challenge Cup.

The nights of play are Tuesday, March 29 till Friday, April 1 with the finals on Saturday, April 2.

The closing date for receipt of entries is Monday, March 28 and a fee of £4 is payable for each entry.

Each game will consist of nine ends and play will commence each evening at 7pm sharp.

Annahilt Parish Tournament coming up

The Annual Open Pairs Tournament organised by Annahilt Parish Indoor Bowling Club will start after Easter.

It starts on Tuesday, April 5 and continues from Wednesday, April 6 to Friday, April 8 with the finals on Saturday night, April 9.

Play will commence at 7pm each evening and the entry fee is £5 per pair.
