Husband and wife in fine running form
HUSBAND and wife running duo John and Grainnie were in action at Friday night's Cookstown 5 mile road race.
Yet again the pair, who are relative newcomers to the sport, produced considerable personal best performances.
John swept around the undulating 1 lap course in 32mins 30secs clipping a massive 1min 16sec of his previous best for the distance. This was John's 8th successive personal best performance.
Grainnie also continued her rapid run of progression by recording her 7th successive personal best by clipping a huge 2mins 15secs of her previous time. Grainnie finished in 39mins 15secs.
