'I don't feel any pressure'

LARNE boss Paul Millar maintains that he feels no pressure in the managerial hotseat as his team remain anchored at the foot of the Championship One table.

Millar said he still cannot believe Larne ended up on the wrong side of a 3-2 scoreline after Saturday's thriller against Harland and Wolff Welders at Inver Park. He insists there is no need for concern because his team is in a false position.

"I don't feel any pressure at all. I came here to do a job and signed a three-year contract. We have a good squad of players, the board is superb and there is a great bunch of supporters behind us. Everybody wants to do the best for Larne FC and I feel we're on the way up," said the former Glentoran manager.

"Saturday's defeat shows what we can do in terms of our performance and I honestly still can't believe we didn't win the match."
