In a league of their own

IT is that time of year when Fantasy Football managers are preparing their squads for the new Premier League season and once again the search is on to find the top local fantasy football manager.

With leagues being run in virtually every workplace, sports club or whatever, the idea is to bring all these people together in one local league and crown the Ballymoney area’s ‘top fantasy football manager’.

The game is open to anyone with a local connection even if they live further afield and with the site also having its own forum, it is also a chance to get involved in some craic and banter either football related or otherwise.

The league called the ‘Cowtown Serie Eh?’ has been running for a couple of seasons, with last season having a fantastic total of ninety six managers competing and Balnamore man Michael Halliday claiming the title.

So if you are a serious fantasy football manager and up to the challenge of taking Michaels crown, or someone who just enjoys some banter during the football season there is something for everyone to enjoy.
