Injuries and suspensions take toll on Inver Reds

LARNE boss Paul Millar reckons his side missed out on a terrific chance to make up some lost ground in the league when they dropped two points away to improving Glebe Rangers on Saturday.

A win was been badly needed after losing on Tuesday night to Loughgall – with yet another player sent off in that match at Inver Park.

"Losing Robbie White to a red card was a serious blow at a time when we were losing 1-0 but trying hard to get back into the game – and I have to say his offence was indefensible" explained Millar after that latest setback.

"Already with about seven players out though suspensions and injuries, that was the last thing we really needed. We even had guys like Damien McLaughlin who had the flu, and Adam Dick, injured, generously volunteering their services when they really should not have been fielding.
