Inspirational display by Brian Coburn
THE past captains of Banbridge Golf Club played for the W.E. Holton Memorial Salver on Friday September 10.
It was an emotional moment when the daughters of the late Teddy Holton, Susan Magennis and Jane Boyce, presented the Salver to the winner, Brian Coburn.
Brian was not able to play in 2009 because of illness so everyone was delighted to see him back on the golf course and playing so well.
He reminded us all that he was the elder statesman of the group, which makes his achievement even more amazing.
