LISBURN continue to ride on the crest of a wave after a narrow win over CSNI on Saturday saw them register their 11th league win in their last 12 games.

Next up for the team is another tough encounter against last year's champions, Instonians. A win is imperative if Lisburn want to entertain hopes of a miraculous league title, a thought now looking quite slim after North Down won both games last weekend.

"We will be fighting hard until the mathematicians tell us we can't win it, but North Down now have to slip up twice for us to have any chance, and realistically it is hard to see that happening," said skipper Greg Thompson (inset). "All we can do is play our part and try to keep the pressure on. Instonians are always formidable opponents, it won't be easy, but our confidence is high and we will try to keep our run going right the way until the season ends."

The action commences at Wallace Park at noon on Saturday, with the Seconds making the short trip to play the same opponents at Shaws Bridge.
