IT proved an excellent day for South Derry teams competing in 1st round Craig Memorial North West Intermediate Cup ties last weekend.

Magherafelt Sky Blues had an odd goal in three win over Oxford United Stars, Draperstown Celtic secured a penalty shoot-out victory at UUC, with Moyola Park getting a similar result when they visited Coleraine Reserves. The trophy holders, Tobermore United, also eased into the last eight of this competition.
