International Masters Tournment on its way to Comber Road grounds

This tournament, the largest that the club has ever hosted, sees 32 teams in three age categories coming to Comber Road from across Europe, Australia, South Africa and the USA.

In the men’s competition the age categories are over 40, over 45, over 50 and over 55; whilst in the ladies competition there are over 40, over 45 and over 50.

This is a huge undertaking for the Irish Masters organising committee and the host club and it is hoped that the event will be a great advertisement for Masters Hockey - an aspect of the game that is growing rapidly in Ireland, due to its blend of high quality competition, opportunities for travel, networking and of course good fun.

Games will start at 9am every morning and run on both pitches until 9pm every day.

When the games ﬁnish for the day, there will be live music in the bar from 9pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights. Further information on this massive tournament can be found on the Irish Masters website.
