Irish League goes radio ga-ga

BBC Radio Ulster Medium Wave will provide live comprehensive coverage of the games that matter between now and the end of the season as the league race hots up.

Irish League fans can keep up to date with the most exciting title race for years with a series of Tuesday night football specials on 1341 Medium Wave presented by Michael McNamee.

BBC Sport online will also be carrying the programmes so that fans living around the world can keep in touch with the title race.

It all kicked off last Tuesday with Linfield travelling to take on Coleraine the main commentary match and reporters at all the others. If Linfield and Coleraine avoid Irish cup replays, there will be another programme tonight, Tuesday 16 February, for the meeting between the two at Windsor Park.

The games come thick and fast, Tuesday 23 February will see five matches played including Cliftonville at home to Coleraine, Linfield entertain Crusaders and Glentoran travel to Portadown.

In March there are further football specials on radio Ulster 1341 Medium Wave on Tuesday 2nd, Tuesday 16th and Tuesday the 23rd and the Friendly international on Wednesday 3 March between Albania and Northern Ireland.
