It's a Western win for West Down

The game was held on Saturday in the Ulster Unionist Hall, Enniskillen and the ladies did both themselves and their Zone proud.

Whilst at times the Western ladies narrowed the deficit, West Down were never behind and scored 14 shots in the last two ends of the second half to finish 73-57 ahead.

The ladies have now progressed to the semi-final stage of the Inter-zone competition and will play Donegal Zone in Loughbrickland Presbyterian on Saturday 30th January at 2pm. A practice game has been arranged for Saturday 23rd January at 10am in Loughbrickland Presbyterian Hall.
