It’s time to get voting for Larne’s Sports Awards

It is your chance to nominate any local team, club or individual residing, or born in the Borough, who you think deserves recognition for their sporting achievements.

The success of the annual awards evening depends on the number and quality of nominations received from the public, schools, clubs and coaches.

Chairman of Larne Borough Sports Forum, Councillor Martin Wilson, said: “For its size Larne has an enormous wealth of sporting talent participating at all levels. With the London 2012 Olympic amd Paralympic Games just around the corner it is vital to recognise and promote these local successes as they have the potential to develop a sporting legacy for our borough, especially our young people. For this reason it is vital that the public, parents, local clubs, schools and coaches nominate those who deserve acknowledgement.”
