A gloomy day, with two teams safe from relegation and no chance of winning NIBA Division 1 needed something to brighten it up.

Ivan Craig’s rink provided the spark with a great fight back. They were 2-15 down at 11 ends but a six and a three helped them back to 15-16 at 15 ends before completing the job for a two shots win.

Philip Cromie got Garvey’s other win. Even two threes could only help to 12-15 at 15 ends but Garvey got home by a shot in the end.

Down 5-11 at the tenth and 6-15 at 15 ends Neil Mulholland lost by 18 shots.
