James excels in Luxembourg
Coleraine Swimming Club member and CAI pupil, James Richardson (16) has returned from swimming at the Luxembourg European Swim Meet on January 20th, where he excelled by gaining two British qualifiying times in the 50m and 100m freestyle events.
James also achieved the Irish Youth Squad times in these two events which was a fantastic achievement and true reward for all of the hard hours of training that he has put in over the past few months. Hopefully this recent success will spur him on to continued achievement in upcoming events which includes the Ulster Youth Championships (Lisburn) in March and the Irish Long Course Championships (Dublin) in April.
The British Swimming Championships take place in July this year in Sheffield.
