Jim gets a half for Valley

Jim Parkinson got half-a-point from a 21-21 draw for Lagan Valley but they went down by 26 shots away to Lurgan B in NIBA Division 5.

Parkinson was 14-8 ahead at the tenth but 15-17 down at 15 ends before coming back but dropped two shots at the end to settle for a tie.

Down 4-13 at the tenth and 6-20 at 15 ends Jim Spence lost by 15 shots.

Down 7-12 at the tenth and 8-17 at 15 ends Jim Kinkead came back strongly only to lose by a shot.

Ahead 9-0 at the fifth Jeff Fawcus was 13-18 down by 15 ends and lost by ten shots.

Lagan Valley won their first home game of the season 72-60 and took six of the seven points in NIBA Division 5 against Castle B.
