Jodie is crowned the British Champion as local girl wins Gold

While others were relaxing over the summer, Jodie was working hard preparing for this key competition.

Jodie is now a well known name by clubs in GB where she has fought both girls and boys in the build up to this important selection event.

Winning this event, which was held over two days in Manchester, was important for Jodie as it gets her on the GB Taekwondo radar and its Olympic programme.

Jodie will fight next in Europe to prepare for GB Squad selections in December.
