Johnston helps Saints extend their lead at top

Latharna are sitting level second with their clubmates after a 3-2 success against Carrick Golf Club A. Raymond Weir (29), Billy Millar and George McGregor all won, Stevie McLoughlin also took a frame, with 12-year-old Lee Bradley pocketing his first win in the league.

Ballyclare Golf Club A sit three points behind after their eleventh win of the season. Tommy Bamber, Stevie Higgins (29), Trevor Mairs and Darren Agnew all won for the golfers, with Adrian McKee responding for St John’s.

Elsewhere, Greenbank A beat Ballylumford 4-1, Linfield lost 3-2 against Carrick B, and Q-Club B lost 4-1 at home against Ballyclare Old Boys.
