The Mechanics Institute are hosting their fourth annual Darts Jubilee Cup on Saturday.

“This year we have aimed to again improve the tournament with both a super entry and better playing conditions,” said darts chairman Jamie Serplus.

‘We have done away with the free standing boards and now will be using mounted boards and platform oches for the first time.”

Returning this year to defend his title is Kyle McKinstry, who in the last 12 months has become Northern Ireland Masters Champion. Also making his Jubilee debut is current Northern Ireland Individual Champion Roy Montgomery.

Northern Ireland Ireland Youth players Gareth Strain and Nathan McCabe are also taking part.

The Jubilee Cup will also raise funds for the Intensive Care Unit Royal Hospital for Sick Children.
