Junior Elks Summer Camps

The University of Ulster is pleased to announce the release of the Junior Elks Summer Camp Programme for 2013.

This programme follows on from the work already being done by the Sports Development Team in helping to develop sporting young people in the local area.

There is a range of activities on offer for those children aged 4-11 taking place indoors and outdoors on the University’s Coleraine campus over the summer period. The Camps on offer are Multi-Skills and Multi-Sports. These Camps are available to boys and girls of all ability levels and are designed to develop children’s skills based around fun games and non-competitive sporting activities which are delivered by appropriately qualified coaches.

A great new addition has been made to the Camp daily format this year as in response to requests from parents, we are now offering supervised ‘Active Elks’ sessions before and after the coaching so working parents can better manage the drop off and collection of the Camp participants. The coaching aspect of the Camp days will remain unchanged and will still take place between 10:00 and 15:00.
