Dromore C settled into a good team performance and had their hardest matches against Dromore’s other teams and they played strongly to keep a lower scoreline against the Dromore B side.

They played very well against Grosvenor C and Harlequins B to allow them only one goal each.

Their runs at goal couldn’t be converted but the defence played well and Chloe was noteable in her strong defence at the back.

Dromore B had their tough matches against Harlequins A who kept up a determined push for goals to go 2-0 ahead.

The match against Grosvenor C was more unsettled and our strong defence were under more pressure. Katie McDonald, the team’s strong goalscorer took a knock to the knee and was temporarily off but recovered quickly with her usual fighting spirit and positive attitude.

Despite a good performance the team were tiring and Grosvenor managed to get three goals past.

They started out against NICS and had a strong upbeat performance to win 1-0 with a goal by Katie McDonald.

The match against Grosvenor was very exciting and although we won 1-0 the pressure was continually on Grosvenor. Zara Greenfield had numerous close encounters, one of which was saved by their goalie but she was determined and eventually found the mark.
