RATHMORE Golf Club seem to be carried away with success at the moment, Graeme McDowell winning the US Open Trophy, Alan Dunbar winning the North of Ireland Championship and now their Barton Shield team progresses to the semi final last weekend.
Earlier they came up against Strabane and Gracehill and came away victorious. Then, on Sunday they beat Foyle in the morning and faced Rosapenna, conquerors of Royal Portrush Golf Club, in the afternoon session.
They emerged winners from this to earn a semi final place against Warrenpoint at Moyola Park Golf Club on 8th August. The other semi final will be fought between Dunmurry and Malone, again at Moyola Park.
