She was named as the Player of the Match, out-shining all of her victorious counter-parts in a superb individual display at Comber Road.
She was pulling all the strings in Bann’s attack, creating several chances for team-mates and even going close to getting on the score-sheet herself.

“I am only 15 as are several of the other girls in the squad so there is always next year and, hopefully, the experience will stand us in good stead,” she said.
Coach Neil Madeley was delighted with his star girl’s display.
“Katie tried her heart out,” he said.
“She was one of the players who were cutting through the oppositions defence.

“She had a really great game and was well worthy of the award.”
“They had a few good players too but Megan McKenna defended very well against Zara (Malseed), who could only score through a set-play goal.”
