Kelly and Donald braces send Rainey II top of league

There wasn’t much to separate the two sides early on, but the Rainey girls soon found their stride.

Excellent passing between Shauna Donald, Cara Suitor, Barbara Allen and Emma Currie soon led to an influx of goals and Rainey were 3-0 up by half time.

The second half started slowly and apart from numerous comedy falls caused by an extremely wet pitch, there wasn’t a lot of excitement. That was all to change in the last few minutes when Grace Kelly scored two great goals in quick succession.

A final goal for Rainey just before the final whistle left the score 6-0.

A great win for Rainey which secures their well earned place as league leaders.
