Kerlin claims May Medal at Roe Park
THE May Medal competition at Roe Park went to Gretta Kerlin (24) nett 66, second was Mary McCloskey (33) after she scored nett 67 and third spot was claimed by Karen Brown (29) nett 67, and the best gross was Marie McGuigan 86.
Senior Foursomes team captained by Ann Kearney claimed victory over Lurgan in the return match at Roe Park on Sunday, a closely contested match with Roe Park winning by a margin of two legs.
Playing conditions were very good with the course in excellent conditions. Second round will be against Larne or Ardglass, good luck to Roe Park in the forthcoming match.
Junior Cup team captained by Carol McAllister saw the ladies through to the second round as Rossmore conceded the match. Good luck to the Junior Cup team in the next round.
