Kilrea Manor Golf Club news

AFTER the euphoria of the previous week's nail-biting triumphant encounter against the Brown Trout Golf Club, it was back to club competition at the Kilrea Manor Golf Club.

Past Captain's Day took place on 17 October and attracted a good turnout of members.

Stroke play competitions usually favour the lower handicap players, and this turned to be the case The winner on the day was Stephen Margey with gross 75 , net 60, followed closely by Charlie Hasson with a gross 71 , net 61 and Eddie O'Kane, with a gross 74. also net 61, losing out for runner up place on the count back.

The back nine prize went to John Milligan, and the front nine prize to Eddie O'Kane.

The Winter League Competition commenced last weekend, and will continue for six weeks, running along side competition for Xmas Vouchers right up to weekend before Xmas, so theRE is plenty to play for before the Xmas break.
