Kristofer is selected for Irish Juniors squad

LURGAN’S Kristofer Matchett has been selected in the Irish Junior squad.

Having been chosen to play for the NIBA last weekend in the Junior Inter-Association Championships Lurgan A player Kristofor Matchett put in an excellent performance, especially during the match against the Bowling League of Ireland.

The Irish selectors, who were in attendance throughout, chose the Junior (Under 25) Ireland team to play the International Championships to be staged in Glasgow in September and selected Kristofor as a travelling reserve.

Eamonn Quinn, Club President, and all the Lurgan members are delighted with Kristofor’s latest success.

They congratulate him and wish him all the best and would hope that he might get a game during the Championships. His selection at such an early stage in the game bodes well for his future in sport of bowls.
