All the hard work paid off at the Waterfront and cheered on by his family and friends as well as many in the 400 crowd, Kyle came second overall, beating several more experienced contestants.

“I was very nervous but I was more than pleased with the judges’ decision.

Coached by Steven Graham, himself no stranger to winning competitions, Kyle is determined to do well in England where he will be watched by more than 2000 enthusiasts.

“I’ve got eight weeks to go and I’ll be putting in a lot of effort and commitment. I can do no more, but it will be a great experience for me and my family,” he told the Times.
