Ladies bowls
ON Thursday May 16 Banbridge Ladies travelled to Divis for a league match but after a difficult game managed to gain only two league points.
During the following day in beautiful sunshine Banbridge were at home to Hilden in the first round of the McMaster Cup.
This was a closely fought match with the result in doubt until the last bowls were delivered. In the end Hilden won by three shots.
On May 23 Banbridge travel to Donaghadee for the next league match.
