Ladies get inspired by Olympics

DROMORE Ladies Hockey held their second summer camp at Ferris Park for 11-15 year olds as the girls arrived inspired by the GB women’s bronze medal.

This is were it all starts for those players with ambitions for the future!

The girls worked hard on their fitness challenges and their skill work as they aim to follow the Olympic motto ‘Citius Altius Fortius’-’Swifter, Higher, Stronger’.

The coaches Nicola Clements, Michelle Herron and Jenny Moore worked hard at developing tactics and the girls pressed on ireespective of the weather to be ready for the start of the new season.

Dromore Ladies Hockey Club has appointed the club committee for the new season as Ferris Park rings out to the clash of hockey sticks as the season kicks off.

New players are always welcome so check us out and get involved with the fitness and hockey and the social side of the club which kicks off with ‘A Night at the Races’ on 29 September 2012 at 7.30pm with the horse racing followed by a disco at The Pheasant, Anahilt.
