Ladies go on the rampage

Dromore Ladies Seconds 5

Victorians 1

A COLD Saturday saw Dromore Ladies Seconds play Victorians.

The first half started with the Dromore side dominating but chances went amiss. Dromore were losing possession towards the end of the first half and Victorians managed to make good work of this situation and score a goal.

The dying seconds of a pitiful half saw a quick come back by Dromore’s Kate Lutton.

The second half started well for Dromore and good linking play between the forwards and midfielders nearly led to a first goal from Louise McCracken.

Dromore were unlucky not to score from a string of linking passes from Jo Leatham and Shannon Brush. Shortly into the second half Kate Lutton scored her second goal of the match. This was followed by a penalty corner won by Paige Brown.

After a series of movements between Jo Wilkinson and Lutton she had earned her third goal, a much deserved hat-rick for a girl who works hard and puts chances away.

Julie Anderson a defender was required to play a forward position, she took the pressure well, in fact so well she put her own name on the score card too.

The forwards and midfielders linked up well with some brilliant passes which led to a great goal by Tasha Murray.

Dromore were rewarded by several more penalty corners but was unfortunate not to score. Dame of the game - Lucky Lutton.
