Ladies hold their 5 a side darts competition

Last week the 1st Blues Ladies Dart League held their 5 a sides competition.

In the pre-liminary round it was G.Mullan, M.Glasgow, M.Boal, S.McKee and S.Spiers who beat B.Graham, Z.Graham, E.Evans, J.Hanna and L.Fisher 3-2. In the next round S.McMeekin, K.Cooper, M.Jackson, C.Jones(100) and G.Jones beat T.Johnson (140), N.Johnson, E.Mairs, A.Sommerville and A.Rainey 3-1 to make it to the final.

Also making it to the final was A.Sharkey, J.Watson, C.Lambe, L.Fisher and J.Hanna who beat G.Mullan, M.Glasgow, M.Boal, S.McKee and S.Spiers 3-2. In the final both sets of girls threw great darts but it was S.McMeekin, K.Cooper, M.Jackson, C.Jones and G.Jones who hit their doubles first to win 3-0.

Also next week the 1st Blues Ladies Dart League will be holding their end of season dinner and trophy presentation with a disco afterwards.

This will be held in the Blues Club on Friday 28th June everyone is welcome to attend from 10pm onwards at a small admission fee of £3.00 on the night.
