The plate competition has been a welcome distraction to the girls in their quest for promotion and one which has produced some of the team’s best performances this season.

Knock Ladies Second XI were comprehensively beaten 6-0 in the first round, with Lauren Pedlow and Anna Martin both grabbing a brace. Paige Brown and Tara Malcolmson both added their names to the score sheet with trademark penalty corner strikes.

Next up was a tricky away trip to Ards Ladies Seconds XI but a game which arguably saw Dromore score their goal of the season. Emma Wilson and Rachel Morrow grabbed the all important goals.

The victory over Ards set up an all Senior Two semi-final against Grosvenor at Ferris Park. With a final appearance at stake Dromore produced a gutsy performance to win 2-0 against stern opposition.
